But you get a PC :P alot more customizable.. you can upgrade along with the consoles to save yourself some bucks, and it can play old games for free :)

btw… it might be better to use VBox instead of Qemu.. I used linux + qemu before.. but.. fixing drivers for the guest os is a problem.. with VBox you get drivers for the guest os + it got an ui as default.. so you doesn’t have to install one like Qemu Manager

No, it isn’t ruined, you can continue using it like normal, linux is booted from XMB whenever you want to use it :)

@kicksummers

My computer is more powerful than a PS3 and it cost
£220

you don’t know what you’re talking about.. besides the amount of configuring through linux terminal to run a windows emulator is annoying enough, let alone from PS3>Linux>Windows>fully working graphics card

Waste of time..

Not strictly true – virtual machines are used a lot for far more than just testing an OS. Many ISPs actually run multiple VMs on a system to provide clients with a Virtual Server – it can be very cost effective.

TECHNICALLY there are WAY more companies out there than you think, like SUN, IBM, and VIA etc…

GPU wise, nVidia may win hands down, but there are many GPU makers…

ANYWAYS, for all I care. I wish games would be more like Crysis, you can scale it from cheap console to high end PC. I want more games like that.
