the same password that you are using to log into the computer. If you don’t have one, you need to put a password on your account. Then you may log into the web page.

On the right side of the web page there should be a link that says “”edit virtual machine startup/shutdown” I think you can do that there.

It it saying there is a certificate error? Cause that’ll happen. Otherwise, I would suggest using FireFox. That’s best trouble shooting method I can suggest. If it does it in FF, IE, and Opera, then it’s your computer. If it does it in only IE, troubleshoot IE.

Yeah I’ve tried those, and I have iDeneb and Kalyway myself, but they’ve been useless so far.

The only thing I have left to try is using an actual retail OS CD along with a Boot CD and chameleon on my USB stick. I hope that works.

It can be done. Try looking up “OSX86 project” or “PCWiz computer” and you might find a tutorial for it. But it’s gooing to take a lot of luck and patience. Have fun with it!

Thanks a lot! As for OS X, I think I could probably figure it out..maybe make it run on my system natively as it’s been done before by other people.

I think this software will come in handy for me in the future.

There are lots of OS’s available for a client machine. However, OSX doesn’t like to run on anything but a Mac. So running it on a virtual is a huge problem.
The limitation is a 64 bit host. (The machine running VMWare.)It’s because VMWare doesn’t contain MS approved drivers. It throws a fit if you try to put it on there. VMWare will probably run a virtual vista 64 just fine.
Shouldn’t have a problem with other 64 bit hosts. Vista 64 on ubuntu 64 should be okay.
    The window will full screen.

Hey, sorry as I am new to this and want to learn how to use this software, but is it possible that I can use almost any distro or OS using this software (keeping in mind about what you said about 64-bit OSes)? For example, can I run Mac OSX on a virtual machine while I am on Windows or Ubuntu?

Also, I am guessing you have the option of extending the OS the fullscreen? Or is it only limited to windowed mode?

It uses the users on the machine. Test is a user installed on the local machine.

Damn…I guess I missed how to create a login for Vmware Infrastructur login page. I caught the “test” comment you made, but how do you create it??
