    Hey,
Does anyone know if Wubi Ubuntu will work on a Dell Insprion 531s with Windows 7 because I’ve heard Ubuntu doesn’t work on Dell computers and Wubi doesn’t work on Windows 7.

I’m loving Ubuntu. I’m using it through Wubi right now and as a long time Windows User, I can’t say I’m not impressed with how much faster and smoother it runs!

easy, go to control panel, then to system, then to the “advanced options” tab, or something like that, since my computer is in spanish, i’m translating, so look for synonims of the words i’m writing. inside advanced options, it should say start and recovery, or something, and a button which says configurate. click on it.inside that, look for a butto which says edit, and erase the text line of Ubuntu. good luck.

Uh…isn’t that what Wubi does is give you the “DOS” screen of choosing which OS to boot?

hey i got a problem. I installed ubuntu before using wubi and it worked fine. but I have a different computer now and also a different harddrive (the other one doesn’t work anymore) so I wanted to install it again but then the folowong happened: the installation went normal and when i rebooted i chose ubuntu. when it installed it reboted again. then i selected ubuntu again but i got some sort of thing where you have to type all the stuff. I typed help but couldn’t find any help. neither did tab.
