Having Problems with Windows XP SP3

www.twitter.com – Sometimes, it’s easy to upgrade to the latest and greatest version of a piece of software. Other times, you may have a lot of trouble. That’s the fun of working with software. Microsoft rolls up a whole bunch of patches and bug fixes, and throw them out there. Those are called service packs, of course. Windows XP is on service pack 3 currently. Louis from the pcpitstop community wrote in to ask about a compatibility issue with XP SP3. geeks.pirillo.com – http

haha…just yesterday my Dad yelled for help for his laptop. I’m proud of him though. He’s learning to do a lot of things on his own. People have even been asking him to fix their computers.

Through a virtual box you might be able to run most programs but still not at the same speed available to a machine running only windows. Even then you still have to (legally) but a copy of windows to run the programs you want to use which literally defeats the point of having Linux in the first place.

Maybe you used a few Linuxes, but you still have no Idea… I CAN ACTUALLY run every windows progarm, Through virtual box (did you know that? I’m sure no), or Cedega, or other programs like that… Stop lying you, I Can Demonstrate whenever I want what i said. Bye

Telling me to read… haha. I just told you I’ve used quite a few different Linux distributions and lying to people on youtube about the programs Linux can run only makes the Linux userbase look even worse. Now please, stop lying and making yourself look even worse. You can go on the wine hq even and look at what programs they admin WONT work. Some of the programs that windows can run may never be able to run in wine, and you know why? Because they are MADE for windows. I like Linux, as I said.

Oh man (or girl) you’re soooo wrong… I’m not any fanboy or experte in this or nothing like that… I just read… You should read how Bill Gates “Created” MS-DOS… And how many times Microsoft went to court and lost for trying monopolizing the market (And they actually did). Just read a little. I’ve been using windows whole my life, and recently, I’ve been using Linux for 2 years… When I say EVERYTHING will run in Linux, It’s EVERYTHING. I bet you don’t know how to Install Linux…

Those companies are not bought by Bill Gates. I seriously had hoped that you would not break down into the low level of fanboy squabbling about this kind of a thing, but I guess I was wrong. Those companies are what keep Microsoft alive. People buy Windows because they know that Windows can handle complicated programs efficiently. Linux could handle the programs efficiently but there isn’t a big enough user base for it to be profitable. Not everything will run in Linux, don’t even bother trying.

So, the problem is not Linux’s, you’re saying, is of the companies that are bought by bill gates and doesn’t support linux. So Linux as it, is MUCH better than Windows. But I’m not lying. You can run any windows program under linux. If you didn’t tried linux for a long time, you don’t know a thing about it. There are not A THING that windows beats linux as Operating system (and I said Operating system alone, without other companies) And, if there is a thing, you tell me.

Now you’re just plain lying to yourself. I know that Linux is open source and I completely support that, but there are still some things Windows beats Linux in. Linux may be the future but as of now it is not the present. It doesn’t have the support of the major professional development companies such as Adobe or Autodesk for example, and, until those companies realize that there is money in the Linux market Linux will continue to stay where it is.

That proves that you don’t know anything about Linux. If you really have used Linux truly, you should know that Linux has MORE software availability than Windows, because Linux has his own software and windows software, cause in linux you can run windows software (with wine or in a virtual machine, and it runs veeerryy good) So, every and each normal computer user (almost 99% of the population) linux will be enough for everything, and even better. all software runs in linux. You try (I did)

Linux will only be the future once it can capture the software market. As of right now millions still use windows because it has more software availability. I used many Linux distributions, so don’t call me biased. :)

Stop trying working windows, because it’s not possible. LINUX is the future, and if anyone can say NO, then I’m sorry but you have absoloutly no idea of computers…
