doesn’t work, i mean, it says that its activated, but the countdown is still active. And after 30 days it wont let you log on to your computer, it says you have to activate it, but when you click the ok button, a window pops up saying that its activated and when you click ok again, it logs you off, therefore,in the end, you cannot log on to your computer AND you cant actually activate it with a product key.

This didn’t work for me.
I’ve got one machine where, after restoring a backup, it asks to be activated & then errors ‘the memory could not be read’. I’d like to be able to bypass activation long enough to log in and install the lan drivers..

i followed all step and it also told me windows is activated. But when i start windows it still told me i got 4 days to activate.

@godztruechildchild I’m guessing it is a virus. One time my PC was infected, and I got the same thing. So I recommend reinstall XP, just to make sure.
