i recently installed windows xp home edition, and the sound isn’t working? i have tried installing the latest drivers, but it still isn’t working, can somebody help me please?

ooh, man, I need help, when I am installing the windows, or, when I am almoust finished installing the Wxp, It’s just stops, on a black screen with the windows xp logo, the registration of the admin doesent pop up, … PLZZ HELP!! if u can
