    Hello, PCwizKid. I’m trying to install ubuntu, and it worked, but when i restarted my computer it went to windows xp, because i have windows xp. So then i installed EasyBCD and then i installed it and this message came up: EasyBCD has detected that your BCD boot data and MBR are either not from the lastest version of windows vista, or don’t yet exist. But i have windows xp not windows vista. and it say to repair the MBR, but it requires windows vista to do it.
    Can you help, please and thanks

    @RonyIsCool
    I have the exact same problem, I had XP on one HD, I bought a new HD and installed 7 on it. So now I have two seperate HD’s with XP on one and 7 on the other. I got EasyBCD so I could set up a dual boot, but it wont let me access the old HD to make a new entry for XP!

    I was trying to figure out how to make XP default with Win7 dualboot and found EasyBCD. I wasn’t sure how to do so without blowing up my system, then I stumbled upon this vid. Thanks!
