Nice effects, but they would be cool for about 15 minutes. I wish someone would make a good video showing off the functionality of Ubuntu for someone who has never used Linux. I got one of those Ubuntu DVD installation things today for $6 that comes with many help and tutorial videos, but you have to install Ubuntu to watch them. So I would love something on YouTube to see it working first, but can’t find what I need.

It’s a GNU/Linux toolset, not Windows.
You could always ask MS to port it, as they legally can take the source code and make it work for whatever, as long as they retain the license for the new product. Unfortunately MS considers such things as “cancer”, at leas according to Steve Ballmer.

If all you want to do is play games then sure windows is a great system for you.
If you like bugs, crashing, lagging, etc.
Ubuntu may not have that many games to offer. But if you want to do something such as programming and such nothing could be better.
Instead of just playing games you could work on a future in programming or something.
Windows sucks~

The reason people choose ubuntu and stick with it is not because its flashy.
People choose it because its not monopolized like windows. If i want monopoly I’ll buy the new edition not use windows and promote a monopolized business.
People choose ubuntu because its open source, has a great community, everything is free including the OS, its faster, no viruses or spyware, and alst of all it just kicks windows ass.

All operating systems have their own good and bad qualities. I personally do not like Ubuntu how it is delivered, but what it can become is very nice. when choosing an operating system, think, what are you planning to do with the computer? Surfing the web, writing documents, looking at videos and pictures, things like that do not require Windows and actually can be done faster when using a smaller operating system. If you are a gamer and want to play Crysis, go with Windows, it’s the only way.

Yeah. I never really gave Linux a chance. And now, that I have, I’m using Linux pretty much round the clock. Iike it. It’s not that bad. I really like the effects. It’s just. I’ve been using it for like a week and it’s just–awesome.
But, I’m still using Windows for games.

I perfer ubuntu awesome community dont need to worry virus crashes, i cant even remember the last time i restarted my computer i thnk it was about 2 or 3 weeks ago

It does look awesome, but I still prefer Windows. Mostly because when you think about it, then only reason people really like Ubuntu is because it’s so flashy. But Windows kicks ass all the way!
