oday I am going to show you how to connect your Macs Keyboard and Mouse to a PC using Synergy and SynergyKM! 1. You will need to know the Name of the Mac and PC. IN my case my macs Name is “Patricks-MacBook” and the PC is “Patrick-PC” You will also need to know the local IP address of your mac. In my case it is 10.0.1.198 2. Download the Software. Hi, my PC isn’t connected to my wireless network, but can you connect the mac and pc using ethernet instead? at the moment i am getting a “no route to host” error message. Cheers.

I was able to connect both Windows 7 and Mac using SynergyKM. The problem is that I always see this error in SynergyKM: Warning: Could not map hotkey id=ef14 mask=0000
Eventhough, they get connected, but in less than 5 seconds, I get this error from SynergyKM: NOTE: Client “client name” is dead

Thanks so much! I didn’t even know of Synergy KM till I saw your video. Been trying for about an hour to figure out the instructions on Synergy and was about to give up. Took just the length of your video to configure.

Hey, thanks for all the great instructions. I was having a tough time getting this to work, even while following your steps. I found that by turning off the Bonjour option in SynergyKM fixed the problem, whatever it was. I’m using Leopard and XP.
