@jonathansymes2 the min. Specs are a 3 ghz SINGLE CORE . If you have a dual core you have over a 2.0 ghz dual core you will be able to run the camera

@andranic but even though i have ordered the logitech cam becuase i haven’t got a 3.0ghz on my pc does hat mean i wouldn’t be able to use the microsoft cam on my pc

well i dont have the right requirements to run the microsoft camera on my pc 3.00ghz i only have 2,20ghz and a amd phenom quadcore

Thanks for a real review. Read one which basically said in 4 minutes, “I got this free. It works.”
I also appreciate your switching from MS to Logitech, showing a real world difference.
Reviews should be helpful in pointing out the positives and the negatives. They should help the consumer based on real world testing, and that is what this portion of the review does. I’ll look for the other parts, but, I wanted to say thanks for a real review.

@randyrockksyoursox Are you sure? I just bought one of these and the audio from the logitech from what i hear now is terrible.. i really don’t want to regret it.

@CORNHOLE90 to turn auto focus off…. turn off the true colour thing in the control panel to reveal a properties button… select the camera control button and untick the focus box

This is on a Logitech c600 but I’m sure similar will apply to all models.
Start the software you want to use your webcam with, Skype for example.
Go to the webcam settings and change your advanced settings. Disable RightLight & automatic gain control, turn exposure down e.g. 1/24[s], on high you will see the framerate drop.

In device settings pick a white balance to match your skin tone, not auto. Turn sharpness down until you don’t notice it bringing out the edges of objects. Turn color intensity/saturation down and compare accuracy to real color. Keep brightness & contrast low, comparing highlights and shadows to real lighting.

yah i have a lifecam vx 3000 its ok but fuckin sensative wit colors Lol i want it perfect wit the colors but then makes my lips orange sometimes pissses me offfff
