iphone Custom Ringtones Tutorial for Windows Vista/7/XP
Here’s my step-by-step tutorial on how to create custom ringtones for any iphone/iphone 3G. I simplified this as much as possible, however as it is my first tutorial then please feel free to comment or ask questions. There are other tutorials that explain how to create the ringtones, but none that I’ve found so far that are as simple to understand and follow.
Brilliant video. Followed your steps perfectly, although it doesn’t work for me. Have to hunt down the copied file then after-all-is-said-and-done I am unable to put it into my phone. I get error messages. Perhaps there are different methods for different countries??? (I’m in Canada). I know it’s not your instructions because you did a perfect demonstration.

A few people have issues syncing the ringtone to the phone, the only solution really is to try various types of syncing, automatically syncing or manually syncing. As this differs between person to person, depending on settings, the best way is to try a few methods
March 24th, 2010 21:29
the best thing for you to do would be to manually add the file/ringtone from the File menu. Remember valid ringtones show up in the “Ringtones” category.
