Can you please recommend me what t do. When i will buy a laptop in the usa, it will have windows xp installed. in the hotel i will idmedeatly upgrade to vista home premium.
There will be no files on the computer expect windows. Do i need to back them up? Can Install vista with wi-fi internet connection or can i simply install it without internet connection.

No as it is reccomended you use 512MB. Anyways, windows 7 is now out, no need to upgrade to vista!
