Nothing is working for me. I have tried about 3 guides, how to install Xp from usb drive. When i boot the usb, it let me choose between a weird dos program, and to install windows xp. When I choose install windows XP, i just comes to DOS..

I have tried fat32 and ntfs. I can not remeber, but one time I came to windows installation, but it couldn’t find my harddrive.

Im so tired! ^^ Can some body help me?

Rule #1 in troubleshooting ANYTHING computer related – Google it FIRST!!! It’s way more than likely you’re just experiencing an issue that some other poor sap had to figure out how to fix. It might take a few hours, but most likely, you’ll find an answer or at least a direction to keep looking in, if not a complete solution.
But it sounds to me like you simply downloaded a bad copy of the install files. Just download it again and see if it’ll install with a new copy. Oh, and update your OS 1st!

Its the XP disk. If your computer didnt come with one its on a partition on your hard drive. You would be better off reading your manual to see the F-Key that allows you to use this partition.
