When I go to disk management I can’t see any unallocated space and when I go to Shrink the windows partition It’s showing 0 space to shrink… despite having some 300GB free.

I got mine to work but im using Ubunu 9.04 and Windows Vista Ultimate SP1…
but the Vistas resulution sucks on my acer aspire one

If your booting off the second hard drive no, you just need to set it as the boot drive. but partions are always a good idea

Of course! Just make sure it’s in as your main disk when you wanna boot up.
