Gosh, Dual Core 3.0 GHz in 2008-2009 was literally top-notch. I remember my 2007 build had the Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz and I was excited as heck for it- Then 2010 comes and hexi-core is only $255, ;P. Great video, thanks a lot, too.

You can also just look at the triange on the corner to line up the CPU.

@joedeafhiphop69 We don’t use ‘gel’ – we use a thermal compound that is already attached to the bottom of the heatsink that comes with the cpu. No need to add any additional. The manufacturer provides exactly what you need and that’s what you should use.

Hey I commented your last video, I forgot to ask you something. OK so I bought a Graphics Card for my PC(ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro) it has a HDMI port. When I connect my PC to my HDTV through HDMI it says it doesn’t have HDCP support. Do you know what I have to do? also I am planning on buying a Blu Ray Drive for my computer, and I want to know if I could still watch BD movies using VGA which is analog. I know this is not the correct video to ask this question, but I was hoping could could help me.

@paradoxGFX Well, I’d rather buy computer parts than buy a wrist band that I don’t need, I just built a PC with no problems at all.

Pc world (possibly), a diy store, local ironmunger or hardware store, or a local electrics store should have one :)

In my country, they are considerable pricey for my standards, so…I won’t bother when I don’t even need one.

@TheZombiePanda Just buy a ESD bracelet instead, costs virtually nothing and could save you alot.

I’m just going to stand on a wooden floor with no shoes or socks and be sure to ground myself first before installing each part.

I am building a Gaming computer but I’ll work out the rest for myself, I’m sure installing a graphics card isn’t too difficult. By the way…do I need an anti-static wrist strap when putting the parts together?

Good video but please tone down the 80′s music or get rid of the music all together. It is somewhat annoying.
