Gateway NV52 Unboxing
In this video I unbox the Gateway NV52 laptop. It has a 15.6 inch (1366×768) LED backlit display, 2.1 GHz AMD Athlon X2 QL-65 dual core processor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 4 GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive, draft wireless-N networking, dual layer DVD burner and Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

This is the worst computer I have ever had in my life, I have a custom built computer that lasted me 7 years and was faster than this computer somehow. It has crashed on me at least 3 different occasions where I have had to completely re-install the OS. It’s supposed to come with Bluetooth, but mine doesn’t work. The quality of everything is complete shit.
This is the slowest laptop I have ever used.
@wetowels, for me, my laptop gets extremely hot and is almost a fire hazard.

The AC adapter is just shitty the plugin is plastic so it will get so hot and melt the tip rendering it not usable this computer gets really hot when in use dont buy this computer if your getting a new computer save yourself the pain and get a more powerful/expensive one. The most annoying thing is when the plugin is pulled out accidentally is there is a loud beeping noise to alert you that it happened trust me this computer is shitty

@DannyNita2441 something besides ur lap this computer gave my leg second degree burns but i was running it super high performance…. plus get a cooler pad or something to set it on while using it on ur lap as the heat klills ur sperm lol i know its wierd but true……

I forgot to mention: the Belkin one (with one fan + good airflow) is actually not good for a gaming laptop because it doesn’t have a strong stand. For gaming, you need to look for a strong-built cooling pad. (I assumed that you don’t like having your laptop rocking back and forth when you play games)

@DannyNita2441 Most cooling pads would work. You may want to get a cooling pad with more rubber surface so that it can hold your laptop on better.
I have a Belkin cooling pad (which has a curve in the middle for better air flow) and it works well.

im buying a laptop and i am really thinking about getting this one but my cuz had a gateway computer and had nothing but problems. so i was wondering if this version has a lot of problems or if it pretty much perfect.

I got this laptop last summer. It’s just awesome.
It releases great heat so it’s a good idea to get a cooling pad if you play games a lot.
At the moment, they have the NV5389u with 500GB hdd and ATI HD4200 (which is twice as strong at the 3200), same price. Now, for about $500 you can get a great laptop, for gaming too.
I recommend this laptop to everyone. On bestbuy it’s $479.99 right now.
