@asus3571 I agree with you 100%. I got my 730 for $1000 with the DELL 3008 LCD and my 730x for $1200, both on eBay. I’ve always disliked DELL computers but the 730 and 730x are great machines. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have bought them.

@xPH3N0Mx i stand corrected i didnot know they fixed that horrid issue i guess u learn something new every day thats good news for people who would otherwize and still waste their money on a dell
May 14th, 2010 01:46
@asus3571 Listen buddy, I’ve owned the 730 and the 730x for well over a year. I know what I’m talking about. BOTH of those machines are ATX form factor and will accept ANY PSU and will accept ANY mobo that isn’t an extended ATX. The XPS 730 and 730x were DESIGNED so the customer could swap hardware because that was the major complaint will the previous DELL systems.
As for a “REAL” machine, my 730x would walk your “real” machine and then some. Now, please, do your research next time.

@xPH3N0Mx Hey there on some crack corn or some shit.
Like i have a old dell 8100 Dimension, the one that came with Rumbus ram.
That thing came with a P4 1.7 not even HT. I asked well what is the max p4 that the board can take they said 2.0Ghz. I said ok how much is that, 175 bucks. Mind you at this time it was 2007, i was like for a 8 year old processor you want 175 bucks for a 2.0Ghz. The hell is dell smoking? I was like apple don’t even charge that and they’re nuts.
May 14th, 2010 03:01
@Randomkaoz Oh, I agree. For example, DELL wanted $1100 for their H2C unit. $1100!!!! I found one on eBay for $325.
Dell wanted $800 for an additional GTX 280 video card, when you can get them for under $200 on e-tailers.
May 14th, 2010 03:20
@xPH3N0Mx I think its mostly the fact that people are willing to pay because they don’t know any better, they don’t advertise like they used to when they were making decent machines and labor shit lol. Who they paying the guy who takes out the 1GB video card to the 2GB lol. What kills me more it’s not the total end price. But the parts value at their store. Like a Dimension motherboard would go for 170 bucks, for a 10 dollar board. or 210 for a core 2 duo.
May 14th, 2010 03:56
When you pulled the computer out of the box I just about shit myself.
May 14th, 2010 04:05
@xPH3N0Mx TRY IT MAN U GOT A DELL ? TRY AND PUT A NON DELL APPROVED PSU IN IT AND WHEN IT FAILS TO POST PM ME AND ILL BUILD YOU A REAL MACHINE BUT SINCE I DONT THINK U WANT TO RISK YOUR PROPRIATORY DEEL GO TO THE LIBRARY AND READ BUILDING THE PERFECT PC IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY OH AND WHY DO U THINK ITS TOTAL BULLSHIT??? THEY ARE PROPRITORY MACHINES DELL DOESNT MAKE MONEY ON THEIR COSTOMERS REPLACEING PARTS THEY MAKE MONEY ON SELLING PIECES OF SHIT
May 14th, 2010 04:12
@asus3571 Bullshit. Total bullshit.
May 14th, 2010 04:57
@Randomkaoz Dell is infamous for pricing their PC’s higher than what you can build it yourself. That is because you’re paying for labor and advertising.
May 14th, 2010 05:09
Not a bad looking case but i agree build your own…
May 14th, 2010 05:54
@demmpa95 build your own
May 14th, 2010 06:27

May 14th, 2010 06:29

May 14th, 2010 07:28
hey! how do you buy all of your gadgets? i min they are so expensive.
May 14th, 2010 08:16
some really sick specs man
May 14th, 2010 08:26
@asus3571 lol and that’s how i started, like a dumb fuck i had my mother by me a dell when i was starting high school, dimension 8100 best dell ever made though but the price 2,700. Fucking thing cost 750 to built yourself.

@irulethe70s bring what??? to my attention i was justgiveing you some advice i found out through my own mistake i was fixing a freiends dell and the psu was not suffient and when i pluged it in the hole systen stopped working wich is why i am no longer a fan of prebuilt dells or hp desktopsthey purposely make them propriatory so they can force people to buy another one now i build myone
May 14th, 2010 09:04
@asus3571 i knew that i was bringing that to your attention
May 14th, 2010 09:08
@irulethe70s again i say i never referenced memory a dell will take any ram modual i was talking about the psu if you dont know what that stands for it means power supply
May 14th, 2010 09:29
@asus3571 my dad has non dell memory in his dell
May 14th, 2010 10:07
@irulethe70s not sure what your talking about i was refereing to the psu not memory
May 14th, 2010 10:53
@asus3571 my dad has crucial memory and his didnt brick
May 14th, 2010 10:54
nice brother just want to let you know that if you ever have a psu problem donot and i reprat donot try and install a pau that isnt a dell or it will brick your hole system they are designed to self destuct if you try to power on with anything that isnt dell oem
May 14th, 2010 11:32
i wonder how many trees got killed for all the packaging i thought companies were meant to be saving packaging :/
