Is it possible to use a “New Folder” or something similar instead of the Computer Shortcut?

Is it possible you can add a small icon next to each of the added entries? and aswell as only showing the newly added entries when you Right-Click on my desktop only.

Yes this registry edit does work for Windows XP and Vista.

For those who don’t know about RegEdit, open “Edit” from the menu bar and select “Find…”.
Then paste the above key in and hit the F3 key if you don’t find the place immediately.
