The only tiny thing i dont like win7 is that you can’t put GIF pictures as a background wallpaper. Hopefully they’ll have an update for that other that its nice.

there are sofware which can handle animated desktop (usually as flash animations). GIF is (sadly) inefficient due to the limitation of 256 colors, and becouse (as long as i know) every frame is stored as a whole.
