Will the Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade work for computers with Mac software?

I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer right now. It was pre-loaded on the machine. I’d like to upgrade it to Windows 7. I am also planning on buying a Mac. Will I be able to load the Windows 7 upgrade version on that also? Thanks in advance for your help.

not the upgrade, you will need the full install. The upgrade is for computers that all ready have windows installed.

Usually, you can install an upgrade as a clean install if you have a disk for your older OS, it will ask you to insert the disk when you install to verify that you own the older OS. But check with Apple, there may be special requirements for boot camp.

you cannot install the upgrade onto the mac. all macs comes with bootcamp witch will allow you to run windows on a mac computer but you will need a full installation cd

The upgrade discs need to see a prior genuine Windows install to go in.

Each key usually activates on only one machine too, so you’d need a second purchase for the Mac install anyway.

I dont think so.. as Windows 7 is developed to target the market share of Mac OS users
