Q&A: Windows 7 Performance On A HP Mini 1000 (1035NR)

I open a few tabs in Google Chrome and Firefox and play some videos on Youtube and Hulu. I also launch some Adobe Air applications like Twhirl. The 2GB of memory I installed on the HP Mini really helps with multitasking, but not necessarily with speed. I’m satisfied with Windows 7 as it is since everything I want to do on the HP Mini works. I don’t care about 1080p youtube, I wana know if it can run 1080p mkv files with dedicated codecs and decoders.
I am of course talking about CCCP + CoreAVC. Can it do that?

Upgrade to a higher version to windows 7 or downgrade to XP SP3. W7 starter won’t let you change background

I am now about to upgrade my 1035Nr to 2GB cause I find it real sticks on certain programs. Is the webcam is not to clear is there anyway to fix it

If it is Windows 7 starter edition you can not change the theme nor wallpaper etc.

i got pentium 4 2,6 mhz 1gb ram on win7 32bit and everything work fine…

dude the clicking sound you are complaining about in your video. i had the same problem. you can fix it by muting the inputs such as mic in, line in, in control panel->sound.
