    @Tombi105 Why not? I’m not one of those “Apple Fanboys” who strictly like Mac OS X. I like all operating systems (I’m triple-booting with SL, Windows 7, and Ubuntu). I give them all an even amount of use every week.

    @mendozairis
    No, no it doesn’t. It uses virtual hardware and virtual interfaces for compatibility purposes, which is why you need to install VMware tools for full functionality. That’s also the only reason you can run Snow Leopard in a virtual machine–standard PC hardware is not recognized by the operating system.

    @hi52utoday
    Yes, that didn’t make sense to me either. The only conclusion that I came up with is that he must have thought it easier to install Windows in Bootcamp and then go through the hellish process of configuring VMware to run Snow Leopard in a virtual machine instead of just booting up into OS X. I mean, who wants to do that? Or maybe I’m just a moron for thinking that this was his idea of a practical solution to a nonexistent problem and not just a how-to video for curious folks.

    VMware uses the same hardware info of your host computer to be used by the guest os. There’s really no problem installing OSX in VMware if your host is a MacBook Pro

    @windwakeroftime Not really true, as he is legally allowed to run OS X on an apple labeled computer, despite what OS he is running when he does this, because he is using an actual mac he is ok
