My uncle is formulation upon removing windows 7, as well as i wish to know if i can only steal his duplicate as well as implement it onto my computer. I’ve listened a “1 duplicate for 3 machines” order from Microsoft before, though will it work for windows 7?

You can buy as a single or a family pack

Actually you can only install it on one system, while the three pack user family size it’s three. Installing more than once will blacklist your key and it won’t update.

You could use his disc to install but you’ll need your own key to maintain activation.
If you want three copies you need to buy the family pack.

You or your uncle will need to purchase a Windows 7 family pack to upgrade multiple computers. You can purchase a family pack or an individual upgrade here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/shop.
