Hi coppertop,

My name is Ron, and I’m part of the Windows Outreach Team. I figured I’d just in here and offer some info.

First, here’s the link to the Windows 7 Beta installation page: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/beta-installation-instructions.aspx.

If you notice, a DVD writer and DVD are required to run the Beta installation.

If you haven’t downloaded the official copy from Windows already, you also might be out of luck. If you have a friend who downloaded the ISO you can always burn that onto a disc and then go to the site to recover a key for the Beta product.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Ron

The ISO you got will be a DVD format only. You cannot split it across several CD's and expect it to work. The images don't work that way.

Windows 7 is distributed as a iso file for DVD format. It is mastered for DVD only so burning it to many CD's is impossible.
