How can I install Windows 7 with the product key only?

A while ago I received the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade for HP. I opted out of doing a clean install and upgraded instead. However, my computer is now glitching constantly, and I want to do a clean install over my upgraded version of Windows 7.

I’ve lost the upgrade disk, but I still have the disk envelope which has a product key on the back. Is there a way to launch the Windows 7 installation process without a disk? If so, how?

Vor einiger Zeit erhielt ich das Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade für HP. Ich entschied sich von tuend ein anständig beisetzen und stattdessen aktualisiert. Aber mein Computer ist jetzt Glitching ständig, und ich wollt zu ausführen ein anständig beisetzen über meine aktualisierte Version von Windows 7.

Ich habe verloren Upgrade Disk, aber ich habe noch den Disk-Umschlag hat einen Product Key auf der Rückseite. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Windows 7-Installation ohne eine Festplatte zu starten? Wenn ja, wie?

    Hi Sarah,

    You can reinstall Windows 7 using Recovery in Control Panel, under Advanced recovery methods. This allows you to reinstall Windows 7, either from a recovery image provided by your computer manufacturer, or from your original Windows 7 installation files. This will wipe programs, settings, and files that you currently have on your computer, so be sure to back up before reinstalling!

    I’m pretty much impressed with the stability of Windows 7. It is better than windows Vista which hogs my memory and cpu.’.;
