you can use prime95 to test all of the memory, go to the custom setting instead of blend, and in the “memory to use” box type in 24000 or whatever amount you want to test.

I’m running 12GB RAM on an X58 rig, honestly I don’t get close to using it up even with 4 VM workstations running.
