How do I skip the login screen on Windows 7 but keep the password when I lock it?

I use a password for the system AND a password for Windows 7. Can I skip the Windows 7 login screen but still have a password when I lock my computer? So don’t have to type both of my passwords when I turn it on but still don’t have to turn off my computer every time I want to lock it.
