Asking : Windows XP “safe mode with networking” problem?

Query by Chaleureuse: Windows XP “safe and sound mode with networking” issue?
Hi. My Personal computer has a browser hijacker that prevents installation of anti-virus computer software. As a result, i have attempted to reboot it in “protected mode with networking” – in get for me to set up AVG anti-virus, and operate it, ahead of switching to “normal mode”. Even so, when i reboot it to this “secure mode with networking”, the Pc hangs on the blue display exhibiting a blue XP logo stating “Windows is commencing …”

Nothing happens … so I turn it off and the exact same factor occurs above again.

Any assistance is appreciated.
