Query by Daniel L: will my new notebook get 6 or little a lot more batter life with new os windows seven?
Ok…i purchased my quite new toshiba labtop in march 2009
the specs are.:
Intel core 2 duo processor two.0GHz 800FSB, 320GB SATA difficult drive two.five sort factor, 4GB DDR2 800 ram, 14.one in. display screen, and a 9 cell orginal toshiba battery.
I curretly have windows vista final sp2 on my computer and eversince i purchased my laptop computer i been getting ton of hrs on my battery soon after entire cost.. five hours and 30 minutes.
I been looking at articles or blog posts on the internet.. ie.: google “windows 7″ on the potential release windows seven “vista successor” and it stated it will be power effiencient and consume less battery power.
So, my query is, will my laptop also improve battery life from existing five and a 50 percent hrs with vista final sp2 to about six hours to little much more?
Thanks

Until the final release, that is extremely hard to know. The latest versions of Windows seven are not ultimate copies. Just like Longhorn was not a closing duplicate of Vista. Vista runs different then Longhorn did simply because they modified issues in it prior to it was finalized. You will just have to wait and see. It will also depend on how you use the method, due to the fact the power preserving functions may possibly not concur with how you use your program. For instance, Windows seven may possibly attempt to flip off your wifi when you aren’t making use of it. This would without a doubt help save energy, but if you want fast messages or updates, you need that connection.
What do you feel? Response beneath!
