Windows 7 is the new version of windows set to be available for purchase some time next year.
Its a lot like Vista but is much less demanding on both the RAM and CPU side of things.
This means it’ll work a lot better then vista on all computers.

Currently you get the “Windows 7 RC” which is a Release Candidate which is kind of like a sample version, it will possibly have a few bugs, but is free until about March next year iirc.
