Problem by Exciting D Un D: Why am I currently being told my duplicate of Microsoft Workplace is not real?
I just received this dialog box pop up when I experimented with opening a phrase document and the software is inactive (blue background document not opened and greyed out icons)

“This duplicate of Microsoft Company is not real.

Remember to excuse this interruption. This duplicate of Office environment did not pass validation. Click Learn Far more for on the internet facts and aid identifying the best way to get genuine Microsoft Office environment.” With the title “Microsoft Workplace Real Edge” and the choice to either “Learn A lot more” or “Remind Me Later”.

I’m sure it is genuine because I acquired my laptop from Dell and had the pre-put in Company doing work properly for 4-five many years. I was likely to click “Learn A lot more” but I am concerned it may well be a virus or something (forgive my ignorance if which is impossible – I’ve received an anti-virus but I do not know still).

What do you believe?

Very best solution:

Answer by Glenn
You ought to have serial figures for all of your pre-installed computer software. Make contact with Microsoft or verify the FAQ’s for that issue.

What do you think? Solution under!

It seems that the default Windows 7 setting is to shut a SATA storage drive off after being inactive in something like 15 minutes. I don’t think this is very healthy for my HD because I use the PC almost all day, and it ends up shutting down and restarting all the time. Is there a place in the control panel where I can turn this timer off?
