It was supposed to renew itself. Make positive to DHCP (automatic detection of IP address)

I want to have Windows 7 automatically launch a VPN connection on startup and then to reconnect automatically in the event the VPN stops working or is disconnected. How can I do this?

Now that I’ve installed Windows 7 on my C drive, Windows Vista is left on my D drive, and everytime I boot up it asks me to choose between which OS system to launch. How can I set it to default launch Windows 7?
