I needed something that I could sketch but not have to take my larger tablet pc. I love my toshiba tablet pc, but it is heavier, takes a little while to turn on and it is a much bigger device that would not fit in my purse. When I found the Ls800 it filled the perfect niche I was after plus the price was right. If you look for motion computing ls800′s on ebay you can find them for about $200+. You can also buy 12 inch models for a bit more, but I wanted small and portable. The ls800 has worked out great in combination with the Ipad. The ipad is great to surf the net, check email, do pretty much everything I did on my netbook. But I can keep both on but draw on a wacom accurate screen and save it.
